How Do Influencers Really Make Money?
Hey Babes!
I hope everyone had a great holiday and a happy new year! This week, we're chatting about influencer income streams, Its 2024 influencers & content creators should be getting paid! It’s important not to put all your eggs in one basket, you need to diversify your income streams. Here is a couple of ways how:
1. Brands Pay Creators: This is the classic and most common way influencers earn. Brands pay creators for specific posts, such as Instagram feeds, TikTok videos, or YouTube content that features the brand in a promotional or educational way. It's the most traditional form of influencer revenue. Understanding how much to charge for this kind of content is so important so I created a top-secret rate chart for undercharging!
2. Affiliate Programs: The beauty of affiliate programs is that they're open to creators of all follower sizes. By signing up, you generate unique links. When you share these links on your socials, and someone makes a purchase through them, you earn a commission. Platforms like LTK offer opportunities for all creators, and brands might also provide individual links or promotional codes.
3. Creating Digital Products: Many creators have ventured into crafting and selling their own products. This can span from digital offerings to launching their own physical brands.
4. User-Generated Content (UGC): Utilizing UGC is another way influencers can monetize their content. Whether through whitelisting, creative services, event appearances, or photo shoots, there are plenty of opportunities to leverage your influence.
